IAIN Macwhirter seems quite taken by the populist blagging of Boris Johnson, as are millions of others ("Why Johnson is donning the mantle of a Tory Tony Benn", The Herald, October 6). However, quoting a handful of occupations where the wage packets are a tad heavier does not mean we are heading toward a “high-wage economy”.
