UPDATE: A man stabbed early Sunday told police he’d been attacked on the CTA Red Line platform at 100 North State Street, but later investigation revealed no evidence that the incident had taken place on CTA property. The man, 44, told police he had been stabbed multiple times during a robbery at the train station, with assailants purportedly stealing property from him during the assault. Later Sunday afternoon, officials said that there was no evidence that the attack had taken place on the CTA platform. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition, officials said. No one was in custody.
