The Reader: Mask-only London Tube carriages for rule breakers

I totally agree with Pat Whitaker’s letter this week regarding TfL’s failure to enforce its own policy on masks. Having travelled recently to Lisbon and Warsaw, I noticed that metro passengers in both capitals comply fully with mandatory mask-wearing. Transport police were on the platforms, giving out on-the-spot fines to those travelling without a mask.
