OPINION - Talking Point: Do you think Tony Blair should receive the knighthood?

The news that Tony Blair is to receive a knighthood from the Queen in her New Year’s Honours list has unsurprisingly irked a few. In fact, some half a million people have already signed a petition calling on the knighthood to be rescinded, saying the former Labour PM caused “irreparable damage to both the constitution of the United Kingdom and to the very fabric of the nation’s society”.
